We use golden flaxseed because it is superior to brown flaxseed in terms of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. It is also an excellent source of soluble (20 to 40%) and insoluble (60 to 80%) fiber.
Rapeseed oil is a great source of vitamin K and E. It also provides a good amount of unsaturated fats that can reduce harmful cholesterol levels and therefore improve cardiovascular health.
Soy is an excellent source of protein because it has a much lower ecological footprint than animal protein, a complete amino acid profile, and a protein digestibility-corrected amino acid score of 1.00, which is the best possible score.
We use microencapsulated sunflower oil because it dissolves easily and does not give off a bad smell. What's more, sunflower oil contains many healthy unsaturated fats and omega-6 fatty acids.
Chicory root is a good source of inulin, a type of prebiotic fiber that has been linked to better gut health. It also contains a small amount of the mineral manganese and vitamin B6.
