Banana Bread Recipe

Just follow this simple step-by-step guide and you'll be fine:

Ingredients

  • 3 large (over) ripe bananas for the dough
  • 1 large (over) ripe banana for half the bread
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup banana smoothie
  • 1 cup of Plenny Shake Banana
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 100 ml of almond milk
  • 10 soft dates, pitted
  • 1 pinch of salt


Optional:
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Preparation

  1. Add pitted dates, plant-based milk, and 3 bananas to a food processor (or mash well with a fork).
  2. Add the Plenny Shake Banana powder, flour, baking powder, a pinch of salt and mix until smooth.
  3. Add the batter to a greased ovenproof baking dish. Peel your last banana. A banana that is nice and long works best. Tip it into the centre of the tin, right on top of the batter.
  4. Bake everything at 180 degrees Celsius for about 25-30 minutes.
  5. Allow the bread to cool completely before removing it from the baking pan.
  6. Cut into wedges and serve plain or with nut butter or jam on top.
  7. Enjoy it!
